Yes, men do have breasts — even milk ducts. For the vast majority of men, the breast tissue does not develop like it does in women due to high testosterone levels during puberty. There are several medical conditions that can cause breast enlargement in men. One is gynecomastia, which can cause swollen breast tissue and even breast tenderness.
How a viral image of breasts exposes science's obsession with the male body
Breasts: Women have them, men love them — but clearly not all men and women think about them in the same way. To you cis, heterosexual ladies, they're obviously part of your body, for better or worse. Sometimes you're proud of them, sometimes unhappy and most of you know how to use them to your advantage at least a little. To us heterosexual guys, however, your breasts are the object of something between strong interest and out-and-out obsession depending upon the guy and the set. They make us fixate, double-take and lose our trains of thought.
To be fair, the image, which displays milk ducts in all their raw, floral detail, is indeed a new one for many of our eyes my own included. I just realized I never saw a photo of a female muscle system. This is NOT what I imagined milk ducts to look like.
